Students in Fab Lab 2 designed and built Cardboard Art projects, in which they could re-create something in the real-world, and build it with cardboard. These students built a completely cardboard foosball game with a 3D printed ball. Another student recreated an actual warplane that flies further than you would think!

Mrs. Eastman had her childhood friend, TJ Martinson, come and talk to her students about the writing and publishing process for his debut novel, “Reign of the Kingfishher”. The kids LOVED having him come in!

The BUGC Chain Reaction Group celebrated World Kindness Day by leaving thoughtful notes on every students locker. Changing the world with one act of kindness at a time!!

These pictures show BUGC teachers having conversations with students. Getting to know them as an individual and asking how things are going? This happens on a systematic basis through our Social-Emotional Learning program. #Maslow-Before-Bloom!!

Today the Upper Grade Center students welcomed over 80 Veterans and current service men and women to breakfast. It was just a small gesture to show our gratitude for their sacrifice and service!Thank you to all staff, students and volunteers who helped make this happen!

A couple of Mrs. Lanoue’s students celebrated her birthday by giving her a rotisserie chicken of all things!! LOL

When your student dress up and insist on taking a pic with you!! Those boys are looking good!!

BUGC’s Homecoming game was a success!! 7th & 8th Grade teams won pretty easily with a fairly large crowd to cheer them on. Thanks to all staff members who helped host our BUGC family.

The BUGC secretaries. Hardest working women in education!!!!

Today Mr. McDaniel and Mrs. Carlton led the BUGC staff through an activity to highlight the importance of students feeling connected to adults and programs at school. It was a great staff meeting!!

Veterans Day Program at BUGC. Monday, Nov.11th 9:30-10:30.

Mr. Outsen (8th Grade Social Studies) sent this cool photo of his 5th hour students with their Constitution Books that were gifted to them from Robin Kelly. Nothing cooler than students appreciating their rights!

ANYONE who has ever attended BUGC is welcome to our first ever HOMECOMING basketball game on Thursday, Nov. 7th!! Come out and support the Tigers and reconnect with your BUGC Family!

Last night BUGC hosted its annual Fine Arts Fright Night and it was a big hit!!

Mrs. Eastman’s class participated in “How To” Projects where students taught the class how to do something they are good at. These projects come at the beginning of our Knowledge Unit where we explore how people gain knowledge and understand the world around them. Students shared skills such as playing the cello, making chocolate milk, riding a segue, finger knitting, and many more! What a fun couple of days
