BUGC Lunch menu for April 20-24, 2026 🌎🌱🪻🌷
Congratulations to our Band, Orchestra, and Choir students who performed at IESA solo/ensemble contest on Saturday, April 11th. Together our students earned a total of 26 Superior ratings with 10 perfect scores and 7 excellent ratings. We had three students who were selected as “best of day” in their performing rooms. Kinley Collins (7th grade) and Noelle Fightmaster (8th grade) for best of day vocalists, and Cora King (8th grade) for best of day pianist. We are so proud of all of our performing students!

The BUGC Under the Sea Dance was held on Friday, April 10, 2026, for 7th and 8th-grade students at the Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center. Hosted by the Student Council, the evening transformed the school into an underwater escape for students to celebrate together. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THE DANCE A SUCCESS!

7th and 8th Grade Students at BUGC who completed a Success Plan for the 4th Quarter participated in an extra recess this past week. Also, students with 95% Attendance for the school year have the opportunity to pick tracks that are played during passing periods throughout April and May. Lastly, Advisory Groups who are exemplary in our BUGC RISE Principles were acknowledged.
Mr. Mathews' Advisory Group exemplified the Respect Principle. Mrs. Lane's Advisory Group received top honors for the Principle, Inspire Others while there was a three way tie between Mrs. Lane's, Mr. McConnell's and Mr. Bright's Advisory Groups for Self-Control. Mr. McConnell's Advisory Group received top honors for practicing the Principle, Equip Ourselves for Success. Our Tigers RISE together better!
