Good Morning Upper Grade Center Families!
Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center Students will be participating in the IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness) online State testing on March 31, April 1, and April 2. Test results will be shared once received from the State. This data is one tool that is used to help inform school improvement decisions.
To support your child's success on the tests:
Please check to ensure that your child's Chromebook is properly charged each day before testing.
Please check to see if your child has headphones - these will be needed for testing purposes.
Encourage they attend school on test days.
Encourage good sleep and breakfast the morning of the test.
Please make sure that your child is on time to school each day. Once testing has started each day, students are not allowed to join a testing session that has already begun and will be placed in a makeup testing session.
Remind them to ask questions if needed.
Remind them to have a book to read if they get done testing early.
Reinforce your confidence in their abilities.
Advise them to stay calm and do their best.
Your partnership with us will help to ensure that your child is as successful as they can be on testing days. We can't wait to show the State of Illinois what students at Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center are all about! Thank you for all that you do!

A huge thank you to our amazing community for your incredible support! Together, the BUGC Student Council was able to raise $500, which has been donated to the United Way Disaster Relief Fund to help those in need.
In addition to our monetary donation, we successfully delivered essential items to Redeeming Life Ministries. Your generosity makes a direct impact on our neighbors and those facing difficult times. We couldn't have done it without you!
