Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center students celebrated the principle of Respect with an extra recess. 8th graders who had no incident referrals for Disrespect enjoyed an extra recess on the morning of Monday, 3/2 while 7th graders celebrated on Tuesday, 3/3. We work to instill principles and behaviors that can help students to succeed in school and in life.

Landon Smith and 464 fellow Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center Students enjoyed extra recess during the advisory periods on Thursday, February 5th and Friday, February 6th. Those students moved with a purpose in getting to class on time and avoided excessive tardies to class. At BUGC we challenge our students to be great in order to become successful in school and in life.

At BUGC Khieaunte Jackson achieved 95% attendance during December. He and 258, 7th and 8th graders enjoyed extra recess on Tuesday, January 13th and Wednesday, January 14th, respectively. Those students were also in attendance for 95% of the school days in December.

Please allow junior high students with special needs, in our area, an opportunity to experience sporting and gaming activities engineered specifically for them. We are looking for sponsors to make this another successful event. Without our sponsors, this event would not have been possible.
