Liberty Announcement - End of school year FAQ's 1. When is student locker item pick up? 5th grade locker pick up is Tue, May 19 8am -7pm 6th grade locker pick up is Wed, May 19 8am-7pm This is through a drive thru method 2. When is Chromebook drop off? Chromebook drop off is at Liberty on Thursday, May 21 and Friday, May 22 from 8am to 6pm. You will need to bring the Chromebook into the building, please practice 6ft social distancing. 3. When is the last day of school? The last day of school is Thursday, May 28th. 4. How will my student do work if their Chromebook is turned in the week prior? Congratulations to our 5th grade math team. This team competed against 113 schools across the state of Illinois and took 8th place following their second competition. Liberty Announcement- Office reopens tomorrow, Tuesday, April 14th. We hope everyone enjoyed their holiday! Wednesday the 15th will be packet pickup for the new week of elearning. If you can access the packets online, there is no need to come in. Please email homeroom teachers for packet information, if you are unsure. We still have some work for students that have not been picked up from Ms. Forbes, Eck and Whetsel. We still have daddy daughter dance pictures and museum refunds. Liberty (D.A.R.E.) Graduation - Unfortunately our D.A.R.E. graduation scheduled for this Friday, April 3rd is cancelled. Thank you! We hope you are all doing well and look forward to seeing you again soon!

Liberty 5th grade families with a school laptop - Before tomorrow, Wednesday March 18th you will need to go on Skyward and log in. You will need to approve our out of district equipment use. 1. Go to family access 2. Go to Online forms section 3. Go to Out of district use of district equipment Fill out form If this is not done, equipment will be remotely shut down and not able to be used. Again, this only applies to 5th grade students with district laptops.

Camp Tecumseh refunds are ready for pick up. If you had a student that did not attend and you paid, you can come to the Liberty office until 3pm today to pick up your refund. Any questions please call 815-929-5000

5th grade Chromebooks, If your child needs access to their Chromebook while we are out of school, please click the link below and fill out the form. This will allow your child to have access to their school-issued Chromebook. Liberty CAMP T – Our W-F group of campers are due to return today at 2pm.  We initially had a procedure in place for students to be picked up at the bus garage.   As our staff is planning for a possible e-learning, if the government does shut down our district.  We are asking that parents pick up their students at Liberty, instead of the bus garage. This will allow students to come inside the building to get what they need to be able do their e-learning at home, if applicable.  (i.e. books, laptops, etc)  The camp buses will be curbside in front of the school at the main entrance as they arrive.  Students will go and get what they need, including their laptops.  Parents may utilize any available parking to come in and pick up their student.  Parents that have chaperoned and are parked at the parking garage, will be dropped off at the bus garage to get their car and then are asked to come to Liberty to get their child.  ALL CHILDREN ARE TO BE DROPPED OFF AT LIBERTY FIRST. We do need to do this quickly as school will be dismissing at 2:45pm and those procedures will start to take place. We do not allow children to go to the parking lot to look for their car.  Parents are welcome to come inside or wait at the main entrance to watch for their child leaving the building to walk them to the parking lot.  If you have any questions, please call Liberty 815-929-5000. We will update when the bus is on its way back to be sure the 2pm time is still a good time of arrival.
