8th Grade Team Gold challenged students to a few (ok maybe more than a few!) rounds of Quizlet this afternoon. We used Zoom to communicate while we played! It was so fun!

Here is an Easy FUN watercolor project with Crayola Markers.
1. Draw a picture lightly with pencil.
2. Color with Crayola Markers.
3. Dip clean paint brush in water and "paint" lightly over marker areas.
🎨 The water will make the marker color dissolve slightly. Allow the water to spread and blur the lines. This will give you a wonderful watercolor effect with Markers. We are so proud of our 7th grade volleyball team. Though we lost the sectional game today, our girls fought hard!!
Ms. Crum's 8th grade Algebra class was a day ahead, so today they practiced their teaching skills and taught Mrs. Lundmark's class how to solve linear inequalities by graphing. Great conversation was heard as students learned from each other.

7th grade math students solved problems through board games relating to circles and cylinders. They calculated area, circumference, diameter, and radius of circles. They also solved problems about the surface area and cylinder of spheres. Thank you to Bourbonnais PTA for the grant. The students love having an engaging way to interact with math.
