The Salvation Army will remain committed to our mission of Doing The Most Good for all those in need throughout Kankakee County. We will continue to provide as many of our services & programs that we can, while still taking the necessary health precautions. Pre-packed lunches will be available each weekday from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Walk-through food pantry open: Tuesdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. CDC Guidelines followed while in building: temp checks, masks required, hand sanitizer available throughout, and social distancing. All food services are available at the alley entrance of the building.

Riverside Healthcare has partnered with the Northern Illinois Food Bank to provide healthy food options for families. Stop by the Youth for Christ City Life Center on the following dates from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The first quarter ends on Friday, Oct. 23rd.
All afternoon learning sessions on Friday, Oct. 23rd will be cancelled so teachers can input grades for students. No students will be expected to log in on Friday afternoon.

BUGC boys' took third as a team. BUGC girls' took fourth.
Individual awards: Ethan PIper was sectional champion with a personal best time.
James Sowder took seventh with a personal best time.
Maddie Mellin took third overall.
All three earned medals. Many of the BUGC sectional runners also had personal.best times.

Hands On Science...and Technology from Soucy's 7th Grade Science Class.
We looked at the evolving Science of prosthetics. Then, the students made their own model to analyze to meet the Engineering and Technology standard they have been working on the last two weeks.
REMINDER: There is no school on Wednesday, Oct. 7th. That means no in-person learning or remote learning.
