Team Liberty had an outstanding first week with kids! It was great to see all of their smiling faces and hear about their summer break. They have already begun learning new things and engaging in powerful conversations within the classrooms. Today, our entire school engaged in a collaborative session about what it takes to become a better learner. We all watched the video during ROAR and discussed what it means to step outside of your comfort zone and push yourself to take risks, ask questions, and problem solve challenging content. What a powerful way to end the first week.

Liberty Summer Hours

Upcoming Dates to Remember!

On May 18th several students were recognized for being an outstanding student and individual. They are great leaders within the classroom and have outstanding work ethic and academic success while being involved in different activities and engaging positively with other students.
Lets give a big shout out to the follow students: Eli Austin, Arianisa Adili, Julia Skeate, Abby Rattin, Savannah Mathews.

The students in Mrs. Riegel and Mrs. Sovinski's science classes have been busy hatching and raising newborn chicks. The eggs came from a farmer in St. Anne and he has allowed us to place them in our incubator for the past 21 days. The students have learned about the process of embryo development and have been wonderful caregivers. The students have named the chicks and have fallen in love with them. Tomorrow the chicks will return to the farm and be allowed to free range, lay eggs, and have a happy chicken life.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! Team Liberty is enjoying self care days with massages and recharging with a Plant Based Lotus Roar Refresher. We can not thank our teachers enough for all they do for our students.

The fourth Grade students were AWESOME today!!! They worked so hard and tried their very best. Their behavior was fabulous! The teachers of these students should be so proud! We did not place, but they gave it everything they had! The theme was: Food is Life. The students had to make an ice cooler to keep a bottle of water frozen, they had to make bread that would rise without a recipe, they had to make a food truck, menus, and expense sheets and present them. They had a one minute challenge identifying different logos. It was a day full of challenges. I am so proud of each and every one of them.
