
We brought the FUN on Fat Tuesday! Our staff enjoyed a Mardi Gras Parade as we delivered 420 Paczki's, tossed Mardi Gras beads and filled the halls with New Orleans jazz music. We loved seeing all the joy and excitement!

BUGC Cheer won 2nd place at the IESA STATE FINALS last night. All of their hard work and dedication paid off. They scored 89.1 and their routine was flawless. Great job girls!


Good Luck to our BUGC competitive cheerleading team as they compete at IESA State today. These girls hit the mat at 1:35pm! Go Tigers!

The District Office enjoyed getting to judge the 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off! They had 9 entries which were all delicious but only 3 made the cut for a "Spoon".

BESD 53 Families, There is an Open House at the Exploration Station on Saturday, November 19 from 10 am - 2:00 pm.
Families can explore the new Feelings Exhibit at the museum and participate in hands-on activities focusing on social and emotional wellness and Theraplay. Harold the giraffe, the mascot of the Life Education Center, will also be there to meet the families!
