Students painting rocks to show their individuality after our all school assembly. LeVasser is creating a rock garden with all of these beautiful rocks. One for each student!

Miss Delmore's class loved learning about fire safety with the Bourbonnais Fire Department. They were so excited to get their own fire hat too! (LeVasseur)
LeVasseur: Ms. Bicknell visited classrooms last week and read stories to students!
Third graders in Mrs. Talbot's class were given the challenge to create a Pioneer ball and cup game. They were only allowed to use a cup, popsicle stick, yarn, cotton ball, and liquid glue. The students worked in teams to solve the challenge!

Students in Mrs. Brammer's fourth grade classroom at LeVasseur recently wrapped up their "Life on the Farm" unit by attending the annual Brammer County Fair. Cotton candy, ice cream cones, pie, and caramel apples left the students with sweet memories of their day at the fair.
LeVasseur fourth graders and their teachers, Mrs. Brammer, Mrs. LeSage, and Mrs. Pfeiffer, put together these two baskets for the PTA Walk-A-Thon! Thank you parents and teachers for supporting this event! We appreciate you!
Students in Mrs. Parmley's Kindergarten and Mrs. Pfeiffer's Fourth grade classes collaborated recently to go on a FALL nature hunt to look for 4 fall items in our school yard. The fourth graders helped the kindergarten students write the name of the items, while the K students drew pictures of the items.
Officer Garcia visited Mrs. Martin's classroom during snack time at LeVasseur today. He had a great discussion with the class about how to handle confrontations with peers. We chatted about when to walk away and when to talk to an adult. We also talked about how to include others and be kind.
Mr. Outsen, teacher from the Upper Grade Center, visited Mrs. Kutemeier's classroom this week. He taught a lesson on pioneers. The students also got to look at a famous landmark pioneers used, through a virtual reality View Master . They were so fascinated!
