Dear Athletes and Families,
Thank you to everyone who participated in tryouts for the 6th grade basketball team over the past few days. We were thoroughly impressed by the energy, hard work, and sportsmanship displayed by all of the players who came out.
Making roster selections is easily the hardest part of coaching. Our staff spent a great deal of time in thoughtful discussion evaluating each player, and these decisions were not made lightly. Regardless of the outcome, every student should be proud of the effort they brought to the court.
For those who are not on the list below, we strongly encourage you to keep playing, practicing, and working on your game. Basketball is a journey, and hard work and determination will pay off down the road.
The following tryout numbers have been selected for the team and should report to practice tomorrow from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. There will be a parent meeting following Monday's practice in the Liberty MPR.
