Enrollment for students who will be new to the district is now open!
Due to Covid-19, BESD53 has worked with Skyward to move this to an online process.
If your family is brand new to the district:
To start this process, please go to the district website (besd53.org) and in the For Families menu, select the New Student Enrollment link. That will have you create an account and then email your login information to complete the enrollment application. Please note that you will be asked to upload some documentation (i.e. county-issued birth certificate, government id with name that is on the birth certificate, etc.). After your student's application is processed, you will receive an email to login to Skyward Family Access (also on the district website under For Families) and complete the online registration.
If you already have a student attending in the district, and are enrolling another NEW student:
Please login to Skyward Family Access and go the the New Student Online Enrollment tab. That will allow you to complete the enrollment form for your new student. Once you receive the emailed approval of enrollment, you will go back into Skyward Family Access and complete the Online Registration tab for your new student. At that point, everything for that student is complete.
For all returning students, you may complete their online registration through Skyward Family Access. We have updated the process to have all families upload their residency verification documents (listed in Step 1). If you have forgotten your login or password, please use the "Forgot your Login/Password?" link on the Skyward Family Access page.
