Welcome to Noel LeVasseur School . . . a fun place to learn!

We are located in Bourbonnais, Illinois which is 60 miles south of Chicago off Interstate 57.

Noel LeVasseur School is a child-centered school for students in kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grades. We have fifteen primary classrooms, and two DESTINY classrooms. Curriculum emphasizes reading, math, and writing. Students are encouraged to participate in learning incentives throughout the year. Science and social science units focus on the state standards and reinforce language arts and mathematics. Special programs include (RTI) Response to Intervention, Speech, Special Education and a program called SAIL for students who excel academically  Students are chosen for this program based on previous years' test results and teacher recommendation. All students participate in physical education, music, and library. In conjunction with motivating units in music and physical education classes, students have opportunities to participate in various events such as music concerts and field trips.

Positive social behavior is reinforced through (SEL) Social Emotional Learning Standards. This program helps students with the development of empathy, impulse control and anger management.
