MR. BRET PIGNATIELLO, PRINCIPAL
This will mark my thirteenth year in education, my seventh in administration. I taught and coached in the high school setting and have been an administrator in both the middle school and elementary. On a full athletic scholarship, I attended Eastern Illinois University for my undergrad. I received my master’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University.
My wife, Laura, and I have been married for twelve years. We have three wonderful children; twin girls and a boy. We have a variety of pets as well, so our home is a busy place. We are Bourbonnais transplants, but we have been here for eleven years and absolutely love the community.
My family loves to spend time enjoying the outdoors and a variety of different sports. My children play softball, soccer, baseball, and hockey. We camp, fish, and boat when we can because life is better on the lake and around a campfire.
I am a firm believer that all students can learn and that mistakes lead to learning. Through collaboration and building relationships we will help our students reach perceived unattainable growth. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I value the support and commitment you have to our students’ education. Let’s work together to Be Incredible!

MRS. SALDIVAR, ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL
Hello. My name is Mrs. Saldivar. The 2018-2019 school year marks my 16th year working for BESD #53 and my 12th year as an Administrator. I started my education career as a Math teacher at Bourbonnais Upper Grade Center, before becoming an Administrator.
I have been married for 18-years and have lived in Bourbonnais for 17-years. My husband and I have three sons, two of whom are students in BESD #53 and one who attends BBCHS.
I love to be active in the community with my kids' activities and sports, and I love the outdoors, especially the beach.
If you ever have any questions, concerns and/or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact me. I believe in working collaboratively with parents, as this fosters the best relationship between school and home.
I hope your children have a great 2018-2019 school year!
