Dear 5th grade Parents/Guardians: Due to unsafe weather conditions forecasted for next week, Camp Tecumseh has been postponed until the week of March 11th - March 15th. Chaperones that are negatively impacted by this change need to notify the school as soon as possible. We will need to make appropriate arrangements for replacement chaperones. Also, if the date change causes any individual to not be able to attend the Camp Tecumseh trip, a refund will be distributed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we want to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and chaperones. We also want to ensure that all participants get to experience all aspects of the Camp Tecumseh trip and the weather would hinder that possibility. Please contact Mrs. Coughenour or Mr. Ruberry with any questions or concerns. Thank you for being understanding!

The Energizing Student Potential Program is designed to infuse energy into the STEM classroom. The STEM project was centered around hydroponics. The students grew plants from seeds in water. While the hydroponic system was successful, we never saw vegetables. Students took home the plants and these two girls returned this fall with the fruits of our labor. ESP is sponsored by: The Exelon Foundation, ComEd, Pepco, Nicor Gas, Peoples and North Shore Gas, and BP.
