Shepard School is having a "Caps for Caring Day" TOMORROW as we kickoff our Kids Heart Challenge fundraising assembly. Please have your child participate by wearing a hat of his/her choice!
Students in Mrs. DuCharme's 3rd grade class at Shepard used Halloween as an opportunity to learn about pounds and ounces. They each estimated the weight of a pumpkin. Ms. Padera won with her estimate of 16 lbs. 4 oz. She gladly gave the prize of the pumpkin to Anthony who guessed 15 lbs. 8 oz. The pumpkin weighed 16 lbs. 8 oz. Just a little math fun!!
The winners for Shepard reading night prizes were: Kindle Fires, Lilly from Mrs. Huggins' class and Ryan from Mrs. Nim's class, Google Minis, Mason from Mrs. Frazier's class and Bithiah from Mrs. McDowell's class. Congratulations!
